I SUSPECT MOLD IN MY HOME WHAT CAN I DO? Start by obtaining a FREE CONSULTATION: Get an idea of what may be the problem. An interview with a fungal mold medical mycologist IAQ investigator (Indoor Air Quality) will determine if you really need an inspection. This should be done before making any appointment. No inspection can even begin without such an inspector and client interview. A free consultation will also help you determine if you are getting the type inspection you need. Ask about the experience level of the analyst inspecting the property and if the inspector has the expertise in the type of inspection you need and they are experience to provide a qualified mold damage assessment, health risk, second opinion etc. Ask a lot of questions before you decide to select an inspector and the type of inspection to use. The inspector will determine the test plan and review it with you. It is our recommendation that you do not use an inspecting company that does repairs. (NJ inspection licensing laws, rightfully so, prohibit home inspectors to do repairs due to the potential for conflicts) |

| INSPECTION FEES Our services start with a free consultation. This is done so we can determine the scope of the inspection. Often a simple visual walk through inspection is required. Other times and inspection requires lab sampling and analysis. We also determine in advance whether an inspection site is considered "HOT" which means there is a high probability of extensive mold infestation and contamination. HOT sites require full personnel protective equipment for inspection, including respirator and contamination protection full body suit. Our rates are based on all these and other factors. A a detailed study and on-site report is given with every inspection. NJIE gives an ON THE SPOT verbal report. Then a following written report is a detailed professional report by our scientists designed for indoor environmental, mold and air quality home inspections. Many companies use a checklist type inspection and take the checklist back to their office to generate a computer report that is more boilerplate than information. Our investigation, analysis, studies and custom detailed narrative reports can be performed by our associates, university diplomat medical mycologists, aerobiologists, allergists, immunologists, physicians, certified investigators and are generally completed within 12-24 hours *.
